Hi fellow Affiliate Summit attendees. Here is my guide to Affiliate Summit, brought to you by my friend Procrastination! I apologize if I don’t tag or add links to everything this is being put together last minute. I have had a million things to do am pretty tired and I really should get to packing but let me blog instead! Last year at Affiliate Summit it was my first time in Vegas and boy did I love it. Made some great connections last year all while having a the time of my life. This year I am excited to go back again. I am not prepared for the cold but I am prepared for poker and this time I will test out the segways!
Here are some of the things that will be going on during Summit that I want to highlight:
Saturday:
I arrive at Vegas in the afternoon. Vegas Baby! At night I am definitely attending the Buy.at event. Missy and Haiko’s birthdays both that day! Even more reason to celebrate. 
Sunday:
Bright and early with the CAMA Bruch at the House of Blues, this year I will be able to enjoy what I heard was the most delicious food last time. Some people will not be attending you know who you are and you shall remain nameless I know it’s really because you don’t want to wake up early mister!

Andy Rodriguez as you know is the President and Founder of the OPM company I work for. Andy is speaking this is a great track called developing the right merchant mindset. I suggest for merchants to attend especially those new to affiliate marketing.
Affiliate programs don’t run well on auto pilot. Many merchants start down the road of affiliate marketing because they heard or read somewhere how profitable it could be.

At night, first stop goes to Glam Interactive Group. Ladies I found you today through I think twitter and then I joined your ning. Where have you been all my life? This group is for internet marketing women. I belong there and even though I just realized it today I will see if I can stop by their networker before none other than the ShareASale Under the Stars party. ShareASale Like Totally 80s party, still haven’t put together my 80s outfit but I bought some blue eyeshadow tonight. Make sure to get your passes at the ShareASale meet market table.
Monday:
I am super excited about this keynote, GaryV! As I have said before he rocks his attitude is absolutely a breath of fresh air. And of course Jim Kukral it wouldn’t be the same without Jim making the opening remarks.

ShoeMoney is going to be on their panel. Speaking of ShoeMoney, he is going to be wearing our merchant Train Signal’s logo the entire time he is at Affiliate Summit including night events. Why? Train Signal won the auction for Charity that ShoeMoney put together. Train Signal donated $10,000.00 which will be going to the official Charity of Affiliate Summit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. What a worthy cause, kudos to Train Signal. What they did is awesome they actually bid at $5,400 but since they had allotted $10,000 they decided to give the full amount to AffiliateMarketersGiveBack.com. All I have to say is wow I am very proud to be partnering with a merchant like them.
This track about the future of affiliate marketing has two parts to it check for information in the agenda. Yahoo and Google are not the BA’s here the BA is Scott from MechMedia everyone knows that.
The Future of Performance Marketing: The Evolution (part 1)
We will start with a short presentation and then these industry leaders will continue with an open discussion about the evolution of affiliate marketing into performance marketing. Panelists will continue in Session 6b with: “What’s Next”.
