I am here thanks to the Tuesday Topic! What does that even mean? Well this is a Facebook group that Jen Goode created for fellow bloggers looking for topic inspiration. Jen creates a topic each Tuesday for anyone to blog about. This is an interesting idea because you get to see the same topic covered by different opinions. I definitely strive to blog as much as I can but I never blog as much as I really want to or should.
I would say I have random ideas pop in my head that I would love to blog about but then never get to sit down or set aside the time in which to do it. A few things I should blog about that I have failed to do are from my extensive conference notes, which is why I started this blog in the first place. I want to share my experiences and what I learn from others in the industry.
I have some great BarCamp Miami notes as well as back in the day notes from affiliate summits and Think Tank. Many of the Tuesday Topics have caught my eye but this is my very first tuesday topic. Oh I failed to mention this week the Tuesday Topic is: “Write About Your Intentions to Write.” Perfect I have many intentions to do so and this is why I am here.
Some past topics that I intended to write about but did not were: Patience, You Never Know Who You’ll Meet, and Growing Up. I encourage other bloggers to not only blog more but join our group you never know what ideas it might bring you! I want to share a couple snip-its of the topics that I wanted to write about but did not get the chance to.
Patience:
If you have it you are lucky. Patience can get you very far. I do not have a patient bone in my body! For me it is hard to wait in line for things or put up with slow people. Not everyone is built like me so I have to take a deep breath and remind myself that life goes on and I shouldn’t take everything so seriously.
You Never Know Who You’ll Meet:
This is so true. First of all, do not judge a book by its cover. There is one affiliate I can picture in particular that I met at my first summit. I thought this man wears the same t shirt every day, who does that? Well only one of the top performing affiliates out there! In our industry this is typical to see shorts and shirts and they might just be the smartest person you have ever encountered.
Besides appearance you should just be nice to everyone you meet. They could be your next best friend or your best affiliate partnership yet. You never know what you could offer eachother, how your relationship could grow, or who they might know that will be just the person you are looking for in your business or personal life. Life works in mysterious ways! I believe everything happens for a reason and people come into your life for a reason as well.
Growing Up:
Wow this is an interesting one. Let me say two things right off the bat. 1. I can act like I’m a teenager or like a middle aged woman I tend to adapt depending on my surroundings. 2. I don’t think people really grow up, I think they just gain more serious responsibilites and have to act accordingly. Grown ups whether it be our parents or us when we left home, we all grow and change as we experience life. In tough moments people tend to grow up a lot faster.
Deep down in their hearts people still love the same things they used to love when they were kids. Some people even missed out on their childhood but that goes on to show in their adult lives hence the Neverland Ranch. Michael never got the chance to be a kid and he designed this house because that is probably what he wanted and dreamed of as a child. On the other hand, there are things that people grow out of. For example, people quit smoking because they know it is bad for their health and they get to the point where they don’t want to do it anymore but you know those people still love cigarettes.
Traveling through Europe I started trying a variety of foods and I learned to like some new things but to this day I am still a picky eater. Unless you have a serious awakening and work hard at changing something about yourself I think you will always be the way you are tiny things change but the foundation stays the same. Deep down the core of who you are is still there, your personality, your likes and dislikes.
I know I went on a rant and I want to thank Jen for taking me out of my writer’s block and dedicating some time to share my thoughts because that is what blogging is all about. I encourage everyone to blog more and to join our group on facebook: Tuesday Topic. I will do my best to keep up with the weekly topics. There are also some lovely ladies in the group as well as a couple tough men. Don’t be shy fellas!

I agree. I think sometimes we have different facets that take the forefront or take turns.. but overall, we are who we are and we should learn to not only embrace it, but flaunt it!
Thanks for being you - and including me in your day!
