First of all, I must admit I am a bad listener myself. I think without meaning to, people miss the point. I can point this out on different levels. At times you might tell a coworker a task including a detailed list. Then come to find that they end up leaving little things out. In a group meeting you might notice some people zoning out they may be thinking about their next meeting, picking up their kids from school, or what’s for lunch.
With States being affected by the affiliate tax right now people are taking action. For other States thankfully everything is okay, but the future is not certain. They might find themselves in a similar situation. How to avoid this? Lets become proactive instead of reactive. In the long run, this will benefit everyone.
People forget to pay attention because life happens: responsibilities, bills, families, etc. At the same time we cannot forget how this will affect us in the long run. Giving the little time we have and making it quality time is the key. If you really listen to what is going on around you; you could be a great assest to someone or a collective group of people in ways you didn’t even think were possible.
If we make the decision to be present in our daily situations, I promise, things will get accomplished for the greater good of everyone. In doing this we could find the solutions to our everyday problems whether big or small. Give a little, gain more in return.
