For all my Bravehearts

March 31st, 2009 · Comments · #AdvertisingTax, Friends, Tuesday Topic, affiliate marketing

Whenever I hear the word Freedom, I immediately think of the scene in Braveheart with Mel Gibson pre-racial slur and pre-#advertisingtax. Ah those were the good old days…

At this very moment our friends and fellow industry leaders are in California attending Lobby Day. Karen Garcia has set up about a dozen strategic meetings with local legislators. The reason for these meetings? To stand up for their rights and ours  as well. I kind of wish I had brought up Braveheart before Lobby Day! Now I am imagining everyone at the legislator’s offices with war paint on.

I applaud everyone involved for stepping up and I am anxiously awaiting to hear their progress. I know one thing they have so many facts and reasons to prove why this tax is so detrimental to their state. At the moment I feel secure and empowered by their movements. You all make me proud to be a part of affiliate marketing. No I didn’t just say ya’ll.

Missy Ward would make those legislators into her boy toys…

Madonna said one thing that stuck in my mind on her podcast and that is passing this #advertisingtax will only make the unemployment lines even longer. Hello! That being said, this is a no brainer!

So who would dare wear the war paint?

Trisha Lyn would…

Lisa P isn’t afraid to dress up…

After the SAS 80’s party I think Lisa P would be game to wear some war paint.

Brook has the confidence…

Brook wears pink and I can dig that. This confident man will surely lead our ladies to victory today.

The only one I could not find dirt on is the sweet Karen Garcia. Since she set up these meetings I am letting her off easy. I would like to thank Facebook for providing these sweet images. I would also like to thank those participating in Lobby Day because you are putting a face to the issue that is the #advertisingtax.

Why am I using these silly pics in my post? Well because I have the freedom to. And Brian has the freedom to host an 80’s party. Everyone attending had the freedom to wear whatever they felt like wearing. We have the freedom to do what we want and when we want to do it. We also have the freedom to stick up for what we believe in. Thankfully in our Country we are free to defend our rights.
