This week on Tuesday Topic we are blogging about: Taking a break. Good timing because that is exactly what I just did. See I’m the one that doesn’t take lunches and stays in the office at odd hours. Every once in a while it is important to take a break for yourself. I took a couple days off last week.
I visited a good friend of mine. My first day I shopped at one of my favourite stores H&M and relaxed at the spa. Then the main event was a book release party; Peace: A World History by Antony Adolf which is the first study to explore the full spectrum of peace. This night was something special where discussions and different art forms celebrated peace. We learned that Peace is not only the absence of war. The night ended with fireworks and this:
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…
Imagine no possesions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
In a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world…
You may say i’m a dreamer
But i’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
