Affiliate Summit Tuesday Guide

August 2nd, 2009 · Comments · Friends, affiliate marketing, affiliate summit

Tuesday is the final day for Affiliate Summit. This morning you will want to get yourself a red bull after all those Monday night networking events. It is the final day so make it count. There are still great opportunities to meet with new faces. They will be in the same boat you are and towards the end of the day things will begin to wind down. I suggest packing ahead of time either the night before you leave or in the morning before you head to the conference; because once you start networking and have to say your goodbyes you won’t want to interrupt that to go pack. Do so ahead of time and leave the bags with the hotel trust me you will feel better having that extra time available.

Tuesday, August 11

Peter Shankman first stood out to me when Shawn posted a review of the business cards that stood out most to him at Affiliate Summit West. He had simple information on a poker chip which went well with the Las Vegas conference. From there I started following him on Twitter: @skydiver and of course signed up for his HARO emails. I am looking forward to hearing his keynote. I am glad there will be two keynotes this Summit each morning I will take with me some more motivation.

Opening Remarks & Keynote

Location: General Session Room - Grand Ballroom Suite
Time: 10:00am - 11:15am

I always believe in working with clean networks, merchants, and affiliate partners. That is why I recommend this session especially for merchants and newbies to attend. Don’t let the big networks blind you with their bright lights, they may not be the best choice for you. Attend this session with an open mind. From the speakers I think Jamie Birch is a stand up guy. As for BrandVerity we use them in house and their program is awesome.

I always like what Lisa Riolo has to say. I read her blog and it is well put together.  Right now learning new ways to make more money is a no brainer. If you want to become more profitable I would attend this session.
